GTO Ranch will only sell goats in pairs, unless you already have goats. Goats are herd animals and need companions. We sell our goats for showing, milking or pets. We care a great deal about our goats and want them to have happy, healthy homes. All goats are disbudded and vaccinated before leaving.
GTO Ranch maintains the right to retain any goat born on our farm before filling reservations. We do our best to fill our reservations, but we have no control over what is born. Kids are sold on a first come first serve basis off of our reservation list. Please, contact us to be placed on the list by making a deposit. Once, your goat has been born or becomes available you will be contacted. We ask that you respond within 48 hours or we will move on to the next person on the list.
Once you select your goat(s) or breeding pair, a minimum of $50 nonrefundable deposit per goat is required to hold your reservation. We prefer to dam raise our babies unless there are extraordinary circumstances and we suggest you wait to pick up your kid until weaning at 8 weeks old. Any goat not picked up by the pre-set date or weaning will be charged $2 per day boarding fee. Any goat not picked up by the arranged date will result in all deposits being forfeited and the goat being put back up for sale. If there is a reservation that we cannot fill, we will refund the deposit (we will NOT guarantee color). However, if a reservation is cancelled we will not refund the deposit! Once we have received a deposit on a goat it will be marked as "Sale Pending". Final payment must be made before the goat leaves our farm. Once final payment is made there will be no refunds. If you choose to make payments or installments towards your purchase then once those payments are received, there will be no refunds. Payments can be made via Paypal but must include a 3% fee.
Our Nigerian Dwarfs are registered with ADGA or AGS or both. Our Mini Nubians are registered with MDGA. Kids are sold with the registration applications. Adults are sold with the certificate and bill of sale unless for some reason they are no longer able to be bred. It is the buyers responsibility to pay the registration and transfer fees.
Health Certificates and Shipping
We ship goats! Crates, shipping fees and health certificates are available at the buyers expense. The cost of health certificates, as well as any other testing, is the responsibility of the buyer. Please let us know in advance if you need a health certificate as it requires a vet visit and must be scheduled in advance. We will test our herd for CAE annually and spot test for Brucellosis and Johnes. We have never had an animal with CL on our property. We have only purchased new goats from CAE and CL free herds.
We guarentee our goats are healthy when they leave us. We do not have control over what happens once they leave our farm and make no guarentees once they have left our property. However, we are more than happy to help new owners and love to keep in touch to find out how they are doing!

GTO Ranch is a family hobby "farm" in Elizabeth, Colorado that breeds Nigerian Dwarfs and Mini Nubians. My husband named our herd GTO because the Goats are Taking Over! We have a healthy and happy goat herd that is tested annually for CAE. We also spot test for CL, Johnes and Brucellossis. We believe in raising healthy and hearty herd and enjoy raising a herd of family friendly animals.
